Rubber Crash Doors offer an ideal solution for industrial, hospitals, food preparation, wash down and clinical applications. Rubber crash doors are designed to require minimal maintenance and optimise work-flow, improve the working environment, control dust, noise and save energy.
Specification: The rubber crash door framework is manufactured heavy wall seam tube 60 o/D with a length of bright drawn tube welded to the top to house a spring mechanism. The vertical and horizontal tubes are braced together with 6mm thick metred gusset plates separated identical clamping plates are used to hold the flexible panels into position. Adjustable bearings fitted to the bottom of the vertical tubes. On doors, which are under 2600mm wide, the 60mm o/D tube is replaced with a clamping strip.
Operation: Durable flexible panels and adjustable spring units allow maximum efficiency of movement between areas with quick closure ensuring minimum heat escape. Due to the simple yet effective design rubber crash doors are a low maintenance item with inter-changeable parts, allowing cost effective repairs, should damage occur.
Finish: Framework finished in primer. Powder coating frames to our standard RAL or BS range.
